Maybe someone around here knows how to do the richedit30 upgrade on PlayOnLinux directly rather than copy-pasting from Wine. Run one of the Office programs and you should now be able to enter the Product Key! Copy those two files to your PlayOnLinux system32 directory for Office 2007 (should be at ~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Office2007/drive_c/windows/system32) There should now be two new richedit20.dll and richedit32.dll files there. Run "wine richedit30.exe" and button through the dialogue. Download RichEdit30.exe (I got it from here ) and save it to that same system32 directory. Go to your Wine's system32 directory (~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32) and rename richedit20.dll and richedit32.dll so that they're backed up. If you have Wine as well as PlayOnLinux, here's what you do: I couldn't figure out how to apply the change directly, but I was able to apply it to my wine install and then copy-paste the new DLLs to my PlayOnLinux install, and then the Product Key dialogue worked! So PlayOnLinux is its own Wine installation and I attempted to do the richedit30 change to it based on the relevant section of that article. My computer has both Wine and PlayOnLinux (which is an extension of Wine). Type a product key with a 25-character code, then select Next to start to verify and activate your Windows. Expand the Upgrade your edition of Windows filed, and then click Change on the Change product key. There is an article I was using for reference which shows installing Office 07 using Wine and CrossOver, and it explains how to upgrade richedit30: Type and search Activation settings in the Windows search bar, then click Open. In my search for answers, I saw a suggestion that "richedit30" might help.
